Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bulk Field Permissions (FLS) Chrome extension ("the extension"). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.
Description of the extension
The extension is a tool for Salesforce administrators to view and bulk-edit Field-Level Security settings across permission sets. It operates entirely within your browser and uses your existing, authenticated Salesforce session to call Salesforce's own REST API on your behalf.
Authorized use
You may only use the extension against Salesforce orgs you are authorized to administer. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the extension — including any permission or field-level security changes you make — complies with your organization's policies, your Salesforce license agreement, and any applicable laws or regulations.
Your responsibilities
- Review the "Confirm Changes" summary carefully before saving any update — changes are applied directly to your Salesforce org via its API.
- Maintain appropriate backups or change-management practices for your org, as you would for any administrative tool.
- Keep your own Salesforce credentials and browser session secure; the extension relies on your existing login.
No warranty
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every Salesforce org configuration.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of this extension shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the extension — including any changes made to your Salesforce org's field-level security or permission sets.
Changes to the extension or these Terms
We may update the extension or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the extension at any time by removing it from your browser. We may also discontinue or modify the extension at any time without notice.
Privacy
Please see our Privacy Policy for details on what data the extension accesses and how it is used.
